The report includes about 2 minutes of audio to listen to. Katie & I were at the committee meetings in Raleigh that are referred to in the report and I do very clearly remember Sen. Tommy Tucker's remarks and Secretary Delia's responses. It all seems very obvious that the Mecklenburg County Commissioners were not told by the county staff what was happening. However, they are technically the "Board of Directors" of the LME/MCO and have a responsibility to know. I would assert that they have known since 2010 when Mike Moseley, former DMHDDSAS Director, gave a report to them that was very critical of Mecklenburg's ability to transition to an MCO. That report was a primary reason Mecklenburg was NOT one of the first LME's to transition to an MCO.

Additionally, I did see a WSCO-TV report on the 11 pm news. Two of the families on my email list were interviewed. This is the only link I could find and it did not include the video with the families!
